A Cage for Butterflies

a perfectbound book-block with a niche carved out to contain two tiny butterfly-books. The butterfles can also be suspended by strings between the book and the cover. This started out as a tribute to the Russell Edson poem "The Marionettes of Distant Masters," but the book didn't do it justice, so i cut those metaphorical strings.
