[…] Molly’s personality, bringing “The Loneliest Christmas Tree” to life through the illustrations as the story […]
Molly,
My name is Christine McDonald. I’m a writer, reviewer and Co-Editor at Country Music Pride. I just wrote a review of Deborah Allen’s book “The Loneliest Christmas Tree” wherein I mentioned the gorgeous illustrations you created for the story. And truly, I mean that. My very first job was in the children’s picture book section of my local library. I’ve spent many days in schools and school library’s reading to children. I just want to say that your illustrations are absolutely brilliant – not just in color but design, layout, concept. They make the page and the story come to life. I will certainly keep you in mind if I hear of anyone needing an illustrator. Your work is a visual delight. Good Luck in all you do !
I will email you a link to the article where I mentioned this gorgeous work.
For anyone else reading this, you can find Molly’s work mentioned in my book review of “The Loneliest Christmas Tree” at http://www.countrymusicpride.com
Well, why don’t I make it easier and just post the link to the article here. I didn’t realize it would come “live”. That way all your fans reading this can just go right to it.
